This easy weeknight main dish comes together in about 30 minutes. With minimal ingredients and spices, this baked salmon is one to add to your easy dinner repertoire.

The star of the dish of course is the old bay seasoning, it does all the heavy lifting when it comes to flavor.
What is Old Bay seasoning?
If you live anywhere within 200 miles of the DC, Maryland or Virginia, you know what this is and you put it on everything. I grew up with old bay smothered all over my fish, my shrimp and prawns, and my crabs.
Old bay is a secret blend of paprika, black pepper, red pepper, and dry mustard. If you don’t appreciate a bold flavor, then this may not be for you.
I usually pair this dish with some vegetables like broccolli, or spinach. It goes great with plantain as well.
Grease up a beautiful piece of salmon and pop it in the oven at 180C fan for 30 minutes.
